Thank you for decoding that for me, I already decoded my vin# to find out it was originaly a 305 cid v-8, but when it was given to me it didn't come with an engine, trany, or drive shaft. I have bought a 260 cid v-8 oldsmobile engine and a th400 oldsmobile tranny for $150 in running coundition. i am in the prosess of putting them together and in me elky. I would post pics but don't have a digital camera.

I had a 1981 Olds Cutlass Supreme Brougham Coupe with the 260 V8, it was a sorry excuse for an Olds engine if I eve seen one. I was hesitant on buying it but it was a loaded new car and thats the model I wanted at the time.
