Last weekend, I was scavageing around the salvage yards and thought to myself, that there may be alot of members that need some hard to find items out here. So I was thinking it would be cool if we had a "I am looking for this" type section. It would generate awarness amongst members about who needs what. Who knows, one of us may come across that one particular emblem or discontinued item that someone else was looking for. I have viewed the "Garage Sales" and "Venders forum", but those are just geared towards selling or tradeing products. It was just a thought. :cool:

I think it's a good idea also.

Works for me, we'll see what others would like.

8) Sounds like a great idea! Would be an asset to all members as we could network to help each other find parts outside of our area. It could be broke down by generations.

Would it replace the Garage Sale section? By generation would be good.

Since "by generation" would create an additional five forums thus making the forum index page load slower, and since many parts are cross-generational, I would suggest only doing one forum and suggest that the poster specify in the topic heading the specific generation.

It's a great idea and would certainly help out thoes enthusiast just getting started. We have all seen many new El Camino owners lead astray by the know it all clerk at the local auto parts store or the recycle/junk yard. Like Robert said there are hundreds of part that will cross, not only to other generations but all so other body styles. I'm in Harald K
