After much thought I have decided that I want a second project car. So I am looking to buy a 1960 el camino, I will consider anything. I would prefer it to have a v8, be running, or both.

Preferably within about 500 miles of chattanooga, tn.

If you have one or know someone that has one you can either post here, shoot me a pm, or email me at rewerbwerdna2@aol.com

8) I'll give you credit, once you decided to do a new project you not only chose probably the best generation of Elky but the hardest one to come by! If I were to do another one it defimitly would be a 1st Generation. My fist Elky was a 59. I'd sure wish I still had Her today! :(

Yep, and I am not going to stop looking until I find one.

My mechanic knows someone who used to have one and he is going to check to see if they still have it, I should know tomorrow.

I almost bought one off ebay but it was in LA and the guy was being a pain in the ass.

It wouldnt hurt to check the hamb board on the jalopy journal. Some young cat just sold a running and driving 60 for 1500 bucks!!!! Its a good site they have a free search engine- just type in 59 or 60 el camino. Good luck!!!!! 8-)

I cant figure out the auto-trader website  so would you give me the links for all of them less than about 3k.

That 1700 one sounds like it could be a winner.

Plus I cant find the car :( http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/forumdisplay.php?f=7 this is the right board isnt it?
