I finally found a 55/45 split bench seat and the tracks to convert my full bench seat configuration to a split bench. Now I need the brackets that are welded to the floor that the tracks bolt to. This is for a 5th generation. Thanks.

Dave, I needed one of those when I replaced my floor pans. I could not find one & took the measurements to a local heating & air conditioning contractor. The shop foreman made one in about 20 min. He used a brake & shear, drilled the hole & welded a stud in the center. I didn't stop at the office but went directly to the shop instead. The foreman was a car guy (Rustang) & didn't charge me a thing.

Hard to believe that nobody has begun repopping them yet; there's plenty of A/G-body owners who'd love to install buckets and need them brackets :-( I'm gonna put a pair in my '79 as soon as the weather permits. I've got the split bench in my '84 from which I could "steal" the brackets but really don't wanna tear it up like that quite yet :-( (I haven't decided for sure whether I'm gwan replace the rear frame half or just part it out).
