I picked up some Diablo Thermo Shield from Pep Boys today after checking out Home Depot (with no luck) for some insulation to replace the sound barrier in the Elky doors.
After marking my pattern on the Thermo Shiled I began the task of making the cuts. That stuff is tough! I used Cutco scissors, the ones that you can cut pennies with and still found it difficult. Thermo Shield is very dense at about 1/2 inch thick and it has a tough heat and moisture shield on one side. There is no adhesive side.
Very pleased with the result and would recommend it at $20 for a 4 foot by 6 foot piece.
