I'm struggling to figure out what it is for sure. Car has been sitting for several years but was previously my daily driver. The previous owner was a GM mechanic. Number on the front is V0327FBM. On the rear it says C 25 7. There is a 5.7l also cast. So I know its a 350 and the motor came from Flint March of 87 (I think) The other casting number on the rear of the block appears to be 14093638. Motor has later style cast iron angle plug heads that don't seem to have a GM part # on the inside. The only numbers I found was a large "W" and underneath it A06 and a large 96 under that. on another part of the head interior was NH 1-037. There is a performer rpm manifold with 600 cfm holley. Any ideas or help appreciated. I will say this thing runs like a bat out of h-ll! Easy low 13's.

14093638 is a 350 87 to 95 2 or 4 bolt main, roller or flat tappet cam. Also to find the cyl. head casting number you will need to remove a valve cover and find that same type of number then go to www.mortec.com to find what it is.

The numbers listed in the post are from the inside of the head with the valve cover removed. There are absolutely no other numbers on the head under the valve covers. This is why I am stumped. Could it be an after market head?
