Hey Guys i've got a question. I've got a 1987 El Camino, and i'd like to make it a low-rider with some airbag suspension on all 4 wheels. I cant' say that i know too much about suspensions. I guess what im asking is what should i look for. Like what are some good sites, brands, etc. Thnx

How low can you go? 8) There are kits made to lower G-bodies specifically. Some of these are very good kits and are the correct way to lower your Elky...cutting your springs is not!

I agree, cutting springs is not a recommended way to lower your Elky. You could get a set of Bell Tech drop spindles ($150) for the front. And a set of Belltech lowering springs ($132) for the rear. The spindles will drop your front about 1.5". The springs will drop the rear by about 1.5"

Rear springs are easy to do in under an hour. Spindles may take an hour apiece barring any unforseen complications (like finding a bent OEM upper ball joint that you have to grind the rivets out of in order to change it) http://elcaminocentral.com/users/elcamino/Wink.gif.
A new front end alignment is necessary too.
