There is a car show at Baxter Auto Parts Saturday June 10th 9am to 4pm. There should be a couple 60's El Camino's. There will be food, drinks, door prizes, goody bags, 50's music, awards, free shirts, dash plaques, and special gift for the first 150 registrations. Registration is $15. 350cid Larger rough idle cam, Edlerbrock 650cfm AVS, dual exhaust, Dynomax mufflers, 1965 American Racing Thrust wheels, mp3 deck with Concept speakers.

I need to fix the chrome molding around windshield, cut the rear quater panels out and replace there is small bubbles forming, new fenders, weld the door striker pin area back up, fix the leak in rear, repaint, media blast interior and paint, new dash pad, new dash plastics, clean motor, paint engine bay, clean the wiring up.

In other words its a never ending project.

I have a Thunder AVS 800 on my 68 Vette 427......after some tweaks, she hauls-ash.

My ElCo needs ext bad. Bucky's and Midas sat $500 minimum. Guess its time for a mail-order ext kit.
Flowmaster kit is $299 from Summit
Jeg's sells a kit w/Turbo Mufflers, $174
Both systems are mandrel-bent....
Just gotta decide....

Nice pic of your car!

Have known/done business with the shoe repair guy in Lakewood for 5 years now. Yesterday I took my ElCo on some errands, picked up some of the wife's shoes. Alex was giving my car more than a once-over. Turns out he's a gearhead! He's got 2-3 ElCos like yours and Chevelles and a Gen1 Camaro! I believe he said he has some floorboards out in his cars....

Yes, Alex and Karen. My father is friends with them. We have been to his house hes got 5 or 6 project cars. The car I have is my fathers but I am the one that drives it and works on it.
