OK guys and gals, its been mid 70's for over a week now and yesterday it was still light out at just past 6 o'clock. I think we need to start thinking about warm weather gatherings....like a Friday night deal or something. How about some suggestions for time/place/day and making a regular monthly event out of it. Altamont used to do a 3rd Friday of the month thing at the old Fosters Freeze in Dublin, we could jump in on thier meet to keep the attendance high. I'll see if I can figure out where they intend to hang outy this year.

Your suggestion to "slide in" on an established group sounds good to me.

I'd like to hear from the rest of you maniacs. We want to include as many members as possible.
I hope we can all agree on time/dates.
Although our first meeting was a great success, I'm hoping for a bigger turn out this time.

I checked your site the other day but it looks like ya haven't updated it in awhile. I'm still not 100% sold on the proposed color choice! :-P

A few updates Danny, the paint color is now going to be high gloss jet black. I already have the paint and sealer in my possession. The body is 95% done, a few rough edges to touch up and then some blocking. I hope to have color on by April. I also have about 75% of the parts for the new front suspension...all circle track stuff, very nice. I hope to have that done about the same time. No updates on the site as there is really to take a picture of yet, just a bunch of part laying around and some bondo dust flying.

pick a day and if im not working ill be there,last one i had over time to do so i missed it.

OK guys, it’s been over 70* for a week now, looks like summer is on the way. Altamont Cruisers have moved their meeting location to the Chevy's parking lot on First St. in Livermore (take the First St exit off 580 and head west 1 block, its on the left). They meet there the last Saturday of every month starting May 27. The gathering commences around 5:00PM, I should be there if anyone wants to hang out.

Isn't that Memorial weekend?
Too bad, I got plans.
But if that weekend don't work for the rest of you guys, I'd love to get another option on the table.

Thats OK Danny, they have another meet in June, July, August, and September...again the last Saturday of each month. I'll probably try to show up at each since it is right down the street.

If you guys come up with something else I can do that too.
