I just had to let all know my wife and I made our first Cruise Night Sunday with our "new to us" Elky. About 30 or more rods (coming and going) showed at our local old fashioned car hop drive-in. I even had 4 or 5 people come over to our Elky and look it over. Gave me a real warm feeling inside. Of course, an 85 Elky SS is not a bonifide classic but it's getting close. Stop and think, it's now 17 years since Elky's were manufactured.

I again thank Robert and all the admistrators for such a wonderful El Camino website, along with the expert contributors that help amatuers like me understand what's what. I don't contribute much but I sure enjoy reading all the posts and subsequent responses. No wonder we already have over 1,500 members and growing. :-P

whenever i get my elky all back together again i'll have to run up to mishawaka and check the cruise night you have up there.
