Can/if I find a distributor and carb from an 81 305 and install them will the present wiring hook up right? The previous enging was a V6. How do I hook it up and make it run? 87ElCamino 10-15-2003, 05:21 PM With a non-computer q-jet and a non-computer HEI distributor, all you need to do is connect 12V to the BAT connection of the distributor and turn the key.
