Sorry to hear about your bad luck! Worse yet...no one makes new doors yet, so your forced to look for used...and it's not an easy hunt. Even worse (like you needed even more bad news) 2dr Malibu and Lemans doors work on an Elky, but you need the glass from an Elky...which kind of puts you in the position to find only Elky doors because of the need for the glass. Check ALL the boneyards in your area first...that's your cheapest bet. If that doesn't work, check Ebay, I see them on there occasionally. There is a seller on Ebay by the name "makmonte" also known as Mike's Monte (not me) in Ohio. They're a bit expensive, but they have a good reputation when it comes to used doors. Email them at makmonte@yahoo.com or call them at 937-526-5089. If you can find Malibu or Lemans doors, I may know someone who has the glass. As far as your doors being stolen off your Elky...someone knew what they were stealing...they specifically targeted your Elky, knowing it was there and about the door shortage. It was not a random act of auto parts theft. I would be suspect of the guy who was working on it or someone he knows. Do you know of anyone who owns an Elky or Malibu in the area where this occured who needed doors? Was a police report made and if so, have you considered taking the guy to court for some money toward some more doors? If he is a legit business, he should be held at least partially liable. Makmonte can probably get you doors...but it'll cost!
