Thought i'd share this funny little story about something i did to myself the other night. I was out in the garge working on the camino, putting the 83 front end on. I had to drill four hole in the radiator support for the front turn signals wires to go through since the 83's are in a under the headlights and the 81's are not. Soooo i drilled a small pilot hole to get the hole saw started in once that was done i bent down to make sure the hole saw was all lined up and stared drilling when about 3/4 of the way through the first hole my battery died on my drill so i went an got the other off the charger came back bent down lined the hole saw back up and started drilling and about that time the saw hung up in the hole which in turn made the drill spin up in my hand which then came up and the 18V battery smacked me right on the forehead, after a few minutes of a few choice words and thinking i was glad no one was around to see it i realized i had a nice lump on my forehead so that night i had to expalin to the wife what happened since i could not hide the big red lump on my fore head and from everyone at work the next day. needless to say alot of people got laughs at my expense.

You won't get me to admit to anything. I feel dumb enough already without everyone else knowing

Working on cars, everyone is bound to do something stupid. My dumbest one was while I had my car up on a lift. I was focusing on what I was doing and turned around and stepped foward really quick to get a tool and wham, walked face first into the tire. It knocked me back and I thought I was going to pass out.
The dumbest one I've seen is a guy I use to work with forgot to put the new oil filter on a car after an oil change. He started the car and after about 15 seconds,he'd emptied the engine of oil....all over the shop floor. His nickname after that was Capt. Valdez(after the Exxon Valdez).

This should make you feel better. I was working at a garage and the manager asked me to hang a clock. I got out the 15 foot ladder and a hammer and a nail. I proceeded to hang the clock and was admiring my work, the clock was perfectly straight, when I grabbed the ladder and BANG! The hammer that I left on top of the ladder hit me in the head. Talk about a lump!

i did a stupid thing in my high school auto shop. i had a chevy cavalier and was working on it. i had it up in the air on the lift and was bringing it down to take it off. so im lowering it down when i hear this loud crunching. i turn my head to see a chain fall engine hoist that was mounted to the sceiling ripping the pass. side fender off the car.
