Does anyone know where or if i can find a phantom grill for an 81 el co? the kind that covers the headlights as well? where it looks like lines going across the front

I checked Billet Specialties (http://www.billetspecialties.com/), but they didn't have anything. I know H.C. sells the inserts, but I've never seen one that covers the headlights on an Elky....I'll poke around a little tonight. :cool:

i saw i guy in cardomain had an 81 with a complete phantom grill...i emailed him but never got a response...perhaps it swapped from an 82..i looked at the web page and didnt see anything about grills for an 81..im gonna keep on searchin..

I said the same thing too when i saw it..It doesnt have that clean look..

Maybe if you paint the headlight bezels and the supports black. Then maybe some black GTS headlight,turn signal covers. That way you'd focus on the grille and not really notice the stuff behind it.

I agree with ya Cold, everyting behind the grill should be black, seeing everything behind takes your focus off the grill.
