Well I finally got back to the states, and my Camino, and then came the dilemma. The poor thing is rusted to hell and about to fall apart after 3 years of sitting in the weather. The drivetrain is excellent, but I pretty much decided once I get it down here in Louisiana with me its getting parted and put to rest. It does have some decent parts I'll offer up on here come time.
SO....If anyone in the texas/louisiana/arkansas area sees a decent 69/70 or 76/77 camino for sale let me know. Doesn't need to have an engine, just a solid frame and decent body.

It might be awhile 'till I part it, But I will post anything worth using on here. Gotta find a replacement first.

Just saw a decent 73 or 74 in Hot Springs, Ark for sale on a lot on 270 west (didn't catch the price). Wish I could remember the name of the lot. It looked pretty good from the street. Welcome back! I'll keep my eyes peeled.

They do look nice, but he's way too high on his entire stock...some say he does that so he can appear to make a great deal when he finally agrees to sell the car at a reduced price.

I also had someone look at an SS they had back in '02 and the report back was that it was a fake (why would anyone fake a '79 SS?) Not suire they knew it was...but while he was there he looked at other cars and said they looked a whole lot better on the webpage than in person.

The '79 SS was bought from the guy who bought it from them years before right before I got up there with my cash ($4500)...he sold it to Bethany for $4200 and they listed it the next day for $8500. 8O 8O 8O

I surely do hate to hear that your 76 is un-reparable.

Bi-Centennial year Elky to me, is special.

If your truck is a Classic and has the two tone trim then you'd defiantly want to pass that trim on to another Elky owner it is next to impossible to find and impossible to find new.

I can't really think of any part of that truck that is available aftermarket except for interior stuff and very little of that. So I sure hate to here another will find its way to the bone yard where old Elkys go to die. :( It’s a shame.

I would be intrested in the rear bumper and possibly the front bumper.
