This morning I was driving on Concord Ave. in Concord and within 4 blocks I saw 2 other restored El Camnio's. One was dark blue and and one was a '69 in Black and Silver. That was quite a surprise. It's not that unusual to see a couple here and there in various states or repair but to see 2 restored and one the same year as mine was a very pleasant sight.

A couple weeks ago,I was driving through Lodi and spotted another '64, black, parked at the curb and was checking it out as I drove by.When I looked forward again, there went another'64, white this time, across the intersection in front of me. Sorta like Vuja De. But then,El Camino's of all vintages are fairly common here in the central valley. 8)

I was wondering if there was a spotted thread or sightings thread for El Camino's. I live in Concord and I just saw 2 really clean one's and 3 other not so clean one's just since 3pm. The first was a light tan colored one with larger IROC wheels and it got off at Monument from North bound 680. I was in the Evo. The second clean one was actually the 4th one I saw. It looked like an SS model tan with darker tan on the bottom and she just pulled into the Michael's parking lot in Pleasant Hill. I was with my wife in her Galant around 7:30pm tonight. I can't wait to drive my El Camino this weekend :yell:

I spotted two clean El Camino's today or yesterday now. The first was a 5th gen with a custom pearl blue paint job (hint of purple) and some chrome wheels and a 4.3 Liter V6 emplem en the upper left hand side of the tail gate getting on to north bound 680 at Treat Blvd. The second was a light blue one with a V8, chrome exh tips exiting straight back and was being driven by a blonde lady in the Park And Shop Center in Concord.

if ur going north, right before san francisco theres a small city called brisbane. i was there once for a a friends birthday party and i spotted a good 7 elcos. and most of them were either restored or in very good shape. this city is very little so seeing so many elcos was a pretty suprising thing

I saw a real nice and clean maroon 5th gen on Concord Blvd making right turn on Galindo on Sun. I see quite a few roaming around in the Concord area.

I saw a pretty nice looking white 5th Gen with 20"+ IROC wheels. Looked nice but the big wheel trend is not my thing. Wasn't long ago when people were throwing on 13x7 triple gold Daytons and vogue tires. Now people are putting 26" wheels on Elcos. What's next? lol

Yesteday while on my way to work I saw a very clean 64-67 El Camino that merged onto north bound 680 from west bound 580 at around 6:50am. I decided to drive my El Camino to work so that was cool. The driver of the El Camino worked his way through traffic and pulled along side to give me the thumbs up. Very cool. His ride was way nicer than mine is. I exited at Bollinger Canyon and he continued on north. Very nice ride! Anyone on here?

only see a few out on the road each year, most the ones I see just sit in peoples driveways and never move. I do see quite a bit at the car craft summer nationals each year though.

Somewhat of a old thread but I just can't help myself. Were you, by chance, "stuck in Lodi"? Who is with me?
