I've been looking for a new one as well, if you happen to find a vendor who sells them please post it, I'll do the same.

Thanks,
Lee

8) 5 years ago I found mine in stock at the local Chevy dealer! The guy at the parts counter looked on the computer and said they were no longer available. Another parts man said a lot of old parts were not listed in the computer but he could check the microphish. He looked walked away came back with the dirtiest parts box I've ever seen. They could'nt find a price for it so he rang it up as misc. parts, charged me 35.00. I gladly paid and RAN out the door befor they could change their minds! :P

The sending unit for a Chevelle/Malibu is supposed to be the same, except for the length of the hard-lines. Using one of them would require longer rubber hoses. The good news is that these can be found, while the El Camino version can't be.

8) There have been some sendind units for 73-77 Chevelle and Monte Carlo on ebay. They are also in OPGIs' catalog.

Yeah Papa J, OPG has 72 and older, I don't believe they'll work on a 4th gen. I'm looking in their 2005 catalog page 330.

I've a website somewhere, but for the likes of me I can't find it, they had some for 4th gen. units. I'm still searching, I've gotten a new computer and haven't transfered all my stuff yet.

Yep, WhisperPC is right, and ecparts has them, imagine that.

I did a little research a several vendor sites, you may want to try http://www.ecparts.net/mgastank.htm most cost effective so far.
