lowdown 03-07-2006, 05:30 PM i have a 5th gen elco with a lose passenger mirror. the arm attached to the door is tight but the actual mirror ( the top part) is lose on the arm. i moved the mirror around and couldnt find any skrews or holes were there would be any behind the glass. lowdown PaPa Johns 77 03-07-2006, 07:44 PM 8) I take it you are talking about a sport mirror. I f so then you mean the top half is loose. If you take the mirror off the door there should be two screws inside the top of the base that hold the top half on. At least thats what was wrong with the ones on my 77. :) Raven777 03-07-2006, 07:45 PM I had a similar problem on my 3rd gen, but mine or screwed right to the body. In my case a screw had busted off.
