If you have replaced your stock shifter, I am looking for a source for a replacement floor shifter that fits under the stock center console.

I looked a few months back and couldnt find anything. I ended up buying a B&M Mega shifter and making it work. Sorry I'm not much help.

B&M or Hurst used to make a shifter that fit the stock console on a Monte Carlo SS. I'm guessing its the same console. Anyway, these are long discontinued but show up sometimes on evilbay. Your best bet is to find a shifter you like and mod the cover plate to fit it in your console. Or, remove the console and get a floor mount shifter with its own cover. You can go to montecarloss.com and search for photos of shifter swaps.

I had a Hurst in my old 78, and that worked marvelously!

I'm actually putting that same shifter in the SS. Google it man. Never under-estimate the power of the machine!
