Sorry, the classifieds section doesn't work for me for some reason but i have to sell my El Camino. I live about an hour from Philly and Ive had my El Camino for about 2 or 3 months and its a great car. It is a 229 c.i. 6 cyl. w/ 2.41 rear end gears. It has 150k miles on it but the trans (TH350 but not sure if metric or not) was rebuilt im not exactly sure when. The only thing ive replaced are all the vacuum lines, air filter, some small plastic part that i broke and wasnt sure what it did, and the heater core. Not sure if the a/c works. The bushings in the front and all the body mount bushings are new. The exhaust was replaced but i think it has a leak. There is an oil leak that looks to be coming from the pan but the trans fluid doesnt leak. The car is white with a brown pin stripe (original but in ok shape for its age) and very dark tint windows. It is all stock except the windows and stereo. The hood ornament is broken but i have it and it needs a passenger exterior mirror (the drivers side is a standard chrome mirror not sport). The chrome on the bumpers and the stainless just could use a polishing (a few dents in it). The stainless wheel-well opening trim pieces could use replacing. The back bumper was pushed in a little bit but that was the only collision the car has ever been in as far as i know. the tires are fairly new on the stock 14" mag wheels(chev. center caps). The interior is reddish brown and aged typically. there isnt much fade due to the window tint but there is one hole in the drivers seat. All guages and lights work. The dash is cracked and needs replacing. Everything inside is very clean since i spent like 5 hours cleaning it. It also has a spare and a jack and lug wrench behind the pass seat. The bed has no rust or large dents only small scratches in the paint. the doors should be replaced because there is surface rust at the bottom of them but ive pulled the sill plates and there is no rust or rot at all. The only place the body rotted is on the driverside windshield pillar. I threw some bondo on for a quick fix. It has bed rails on it but one needs a support and the little rubber gasket. the taillights and revers lights both work as do the turnsignals and hi and lo beams. I know this car inside and out so if u have any questions, ask my email is fenderfatstrat69@yahoo.com. Now for the best part of the car... the sound system. If you want it i will include it but if not i will take it out and reduce the price. Its a couple years old and it wasnt installed by me. First is the Sony Xplod Headunit. It is a 50wx4 with a flip down face plate and a remote. The amp is a pioneer screwed to the back of the drivers seat and im not sure what model or wattage or anything about it. Its chrome and silver. The sub amp is a rockford punch 150. The component speakers in the dash (not sure what model or anything) were $350 apice and there are 2. Behind the seat are 2 kenwood boxes (kc9902) each with a 10" sub, a small speaker and a tweeter. In the storage area next to the spare is a custom box with a teardrop shaped grille that says "Rockford Punch DVC" that houses a 12" competition series Kove Audio sub. My friends say its one of the nicest systems they have heard. Im asking $2200 with the system in it and $1800 without it.Also if you are just interested in the system you can email or call me. If you are interested you can email me at the above address or call or leave a message for chuck at 610-689-8771 and if you live close you can stop by and check it out or take it for a ride.
