Today my stepdad and I bought a 68 Firebird Convertible. It's sweet. Right now it just has a 2barrel carb on a 350. We are looking to change it to fuel injection. Any ideas where to get them. Thanks!

350 what? Is that a Chevy 350 in your Firebird or something else?

The whole car is stock. So I'm guessing it's the stock 350 that would come in a Firebird in 68.

EFI is a great choice if you motor is in good condition to start with, the kits from edelbrock like the #3500 are a great kit, everything is in the box,and in a week-end can be installed with simple tools, the gains are better fuel mileage, quicker accerlation, good throttle responce(no hesiations)and better start ups in the mornings :cool:Its not for everyone, there are problems associated with EFI. I had some major ones with my first edelbrock system and over the years they have fine tuned there products, they have better micro-processors now ( was bad in mine) and better componets that are more dependable.I had serious trouble with the system i got from them, and just replaced about everything, after many dissappointments we were able to get it working, but it just not work out for me,and i wanted to change it for something else.I have changed my entire set-up with a more custom built manifold and injector set-up for my motors combination, and the results were like night and day.Edelbrocks (in the box) products are improved and are better for moderate to performance applications, your 350 will be fine, and you will love the performance. I suggest looking around, there are lots of manufactures who make EFI systems so shop around and do your home-work,you will save some money in the finish Good luck..
