i am changing my motor in my 81 elcamino from a 229 to a fuel injected 350 and was wondering what kind of trouble i am getting myself into.
Like what kind of parts i will need to keep. the 350 is coming out of a 1986 monte carlo i still have the monte carlo to get the parts from.

Any help is greatly appreciated

If you have an 86 Monte, you have all the parts you need. But the Monte had a 305 in it originally and it wasn't fuel injected. So my questions are where did the fuel injection and the 350 really come from?

as stated earlier if its ina monte carlo it will fit in the el camino---same chassis except the elcamino has a longer drive shaft................Dan
