I CAME ACROSS THIS CAR WHILE LOOKING TO PURCHASE MYSELF ANOTHER EL CAMINO. PICTURES WILL BE POSTED SOON OF THE CAR I BAUGHT ON AUTOTRADER.COM.

Autotrader Elky (http://www.autotrader.com/fyc/vdp.jsp?car_id=184740511&dealer_id=56509722&car_year=1986&search_type=both&make=GMC&distance=0&model=CABALLERO&address=60634&certified=&advanced=&max_price=&bkms=1143645519336&min_price=&end_year=2007&start_year=1981&isp=y&lang=e)

I CANT AFFORD THAT SPECIFIC CAR BUT THE CUSTOM GRILL DOES LOOK NICE. I HOPE THE LINK WORKS, IF NOT CHECK OUT AUTOTRADER.COM AND GO TO GMC CABALLERO

Cool grill. 8)

I think it's, overall, a nice ride...except the wheels.

And the exhaust--2" exhaust?

Acutally it says: 'Dual exhaust 2in. all the way through' That's a total of 4inchs.

The grille material looks like what I have on my Camaro it comes from Street Scene (http://www.streetsceneeq.com/) but they don't make one for El Caminos.

I like the paint, but those wheels are not my flavor. The grille looks to be well done. I like how they copied the Silverado look. Kind gives you an idea of what the Elky would have looked like if it survived into the 90's.

i don't see a grill on this elky. i see a nice grille though. a grill is for cooking, a grille is what you see on this vehicle. LOL. ROFLMAO.

That is a really nice looking front end! Almost looks like it was supposed to be that way. I'd love to read some details about how it was fabricated and installed.

8) Gotta love that front end treatment overall a nice clean looking Elky. The wheels and 2" exhaust would have to go!

i was watching a show a couple of weeks ago that was filmed at a large car show. the commentator was looking at custom wheels and how they did or didn't go with the car. he is correct about the number of people who buy a wheel they like without considering how it goes with the lines of their car. a car with a lot of curves looks better with wheels with smooth soft lines not straight sharp lines. i'm not a fan of wheels with no depth such as the ones on this elky.
