So I put my '67 El Camino in it's (and my) first car show. Just a lil Church show. It was still fun though.

The pictures were taken with my cell. I wasn't planning on winning anything, and I didn't. I got 4 wheels and 3 baby moon hubcaps, you do the math . I was, however, the only big block there. So that's cool. One guy wanted to asked if it was for sale, needless to say I still have it.

Looks like a better turn out than they had at the Year One Cool Car show at Stone Mountain in Georgia this past weekend! :cool:

Shows are fun, but you will still have some jackass walk up and point out everything that is "wrong" with your car, no matter how nice. I had my convertible Mopar at a show last Fall. The car looks perfect, and most people had nice things to say.
One guy walks up, looks at it, and says "Nice collection of flys" because there were half a dozen flys sitting on my car. I asked him what car he had in the show. "Oh, I don't have one" he said.
"Too bad" I told him.
