There are some minor leaks on my block, maybe the heads and valve covers... I want to replace these gaskets, as well as see what exactly is inside my motor. So I'm looking at getting a complete kit so I have every gasket just in case I need it.
What should I keep in mind? Who's kit should I consider? I don't think it's the original 350 block, but I could be wrong (I never checked the numbers).

I see regular gasket kits of a certain brand, and then performance gasket kits by the same brand. What's the difference?

Im not sure what the difference really is, besides the gasket material quality, but i have always had great luck with felpro and mr.gasket. If you buy and upper motor gasket kit, it comes with intake gaskets, valve cover gaskets, distributor gasket, upper radiator hose gasket, and head gaskets.

FelPro Kit number 2600 (pretty sure that is the number) has every gasket you need for the 350.

I would recommend a Fel Pro set. What you can find through Parts America Online is what you can find at your CSK stores.
