Welcome to the best El Camino site on the web. The collective knowledge here is second to none. Please post pics of your ride when you get time. My favorite past ride was a '66 Malibu that bore a 427 in front of a Muncie 4 gate so your EC body style is very appealing. 8)

not much to see... original paint, was used as a work truck, lots of rust. but still, my dream car for as long as i can remember. actually, my first love was the 68-69s, but over the last few years, i've found a soft spot for the 66. i guess i like the 'slash-back' look to the grill area.

You said it, Dennis. :(
If the weather clears for more than a day, we might an agreed place and time.
I am really surprised that more Bay Area guys aren't showing interest.

Does anyone have any ideas or thoughts on why we (Region 18 ) have one of the largest online membership in EEC but so little interest in hanging out in person.

What kinda rear-end work do ya need?
Setting up pinion preload and ringgear backlash is an aquired art and you may need help with that.
I don'd have a local contact but you might check these guys out... West Coast Differentials (http://www.differentials.com/index.html)

Good Luck
