: Favorite El Camino/Sprint/Caballero Generation?
ElkySS 02-23-2003, 01:33 PM What is your favorite El Camino/GMC Sprint/GMC Caballero generation? What is your favorite El Camino year?
I understand the GMC Sprint/Caballero generations are 1st Generation (71-72), 2nd Generation (73-77), 3rd Generation (78-87), but please just use the date ranges in the poll.
Always loved the 3rd Gen.'s, wish I could afford a BB SS!
bigpat1802 02-23-2003, 05:38 PM 73-77 All The Way! Why you ask, see this http://www.cardomain.com/id/patselk
:D
Trout Camino 02-23-2003, 05:42 PM Gotta dig the 5th Gen. I also love the 1st Gens, someday, when I'm rich, I want to build a 59 as a drag car.
vwfreak 02-23-2003, 07:09 PM Well to be honest I love even less than just the generations that are broken. I love part of the 5th generation that is the 78-80 El Camino. I love the one headlight look of the cars. My El Camino is a 78 and 79 and I love the look of them. The other one I love is the about 77 the ones with the headlights on top of eachother.
acauth1 02-23-2003, 07:27 PM I like them all, and need at least one of each. Maybe my wife will let me...
CHVYPWR 02-24-2003, 12:52 AM Maybe my wife will let me...
Yeah, don't we all wish :D
I like them all, always been an Elky fan!
87ElCamino 02-24-2003, 01:05 PM I like the 1st generation El Camino (59-60) best of all. I guess it's because of the wings.
theelcaminofactory 02-25-2003, 06:38 AM I love em all, but my favorite would be a 1970 SS 454 LS6 4 speed with burgandy exterior and black interior, geez I need to buy more lotto tickets!
John_Muha 02-25-2003, 05:50 PM My favorite Elke, Elke Sommer. Hope this is a clean enough link. She was such a clothing optional person.

Works for me John  Guess that kind of dates me, oh well !
70sChevys 02-25-2003, 09:13 PM I votred for the 5th gen since that's my fave....I'm with those who like the single headlight models. The only dual headlight one I like is the 70 LS-6 454...figures huh?
I also agree with Robert...I want one from each gen...'59, '67, '70, '73 or '74 all to go with the '78 we have now...come on lotto numbers!
John_Muha 02-25-2003, 09:21 PM Words of warning. If you search on her there's a lot of sites listed. The European sites can be nasty. Queen of a lot of B movies. Daughter of a minister. Titled German royalty. She's a baroness. Did sport an almost perfect figure. Made Playboy's 100 best leg list. Best early model Elky out there.

Spoken like a true Saxon. A touch better than the Queen Mum in knickers. Won't you say?

A finer serving wench is hard to find
ElkySS 02-28-2003, 08:41 AM I gotta' go with one of each generation. A 1959 348 w/3x2s, a 1967 396, a 1970 SS 454 LS6 and a 1987 ChooChoo SS. I've got the 87 ChooChoo and I'm on the trail of a '59 basket case, w/all parts and no body rot.
70sChevys 02-28-2003, 06:00 PM You missed the 73-77 group....
Mecheng 03-17-2003, 06:16 AM It would have to be a Cranberry Red '70 SS with cowl induction, black buckets M22 4 speed with the 402/375 HP. I would take it in an El Camino or Chevelle. Beggars can't be choosy!
