im swapping out a carburated 229 v6 out for a fuel injected 350 and wanted to know if i would run into any big problems with the electrical systems. any help is appreciated

the short answer is ---oh yeah---plus there are fuel pressure issues and fuel return line issues etc,-----I don't mean to discourage you as its a worthwhile thing to do but its definitely a project----I'm going from a carbed 305 to a throttle body injected 400 smallblock and overdrive tranny so I feel your pain.....................Dan

the car i took the 350 out of is an 1986 monte carlo it has all of the hardware and all of the electrical stuff still with it could i switch all of the electrical things over to my camino...?

sure can, and should, for future repairs keep it as standard ---at least to some vehicle---as possible so there is a pattern to use for troubleshooting.............Dan

You took a TBI 350 out of an 86 Monte Carlo? Was it the original engine...if so you need to take another look at that motor!

no it is not the origional motor. the guy that had it before me had taken the v6 out and put the 350 in it.
