Heh, sorry but I had to.... You cant get away with topic subjects that good very often.
I bought one of the $20.00 Mothers polishing balls to refinish my BDS 671 blower. I was having major problems getting a good matching luster between the large flat surfaces and the hard to reach places. I spun the ball in a die grinder at 30000 rpm for over 2 hours, washed it out between compound changes and generally tried to ruin it. I ended up running it for an additional 3 hours in a drill for slower rpm and more pressure. It held up incredibly well and did an excellent job. After final washing it looks brand new again. I am very impressed with this product and cant think of a better way to polish rims. I hit one of my 33' Welds real quick and in less than 5 minutes it was back to showroom. Great product! I will buy these again if this one ever falls apart.
