Yah so yesterday I went into this doctors office for a MRI on my shoulder. I have been having problems with it since accidents in BMX and snowboarding. So the doctor requested to have a MRI done on it to see more on my shoulder.
So they took me into this smaller room and a doctor requested a Anthrogram done on it, its like a live x-ray that requires dye injected into the joint area....Im not the best with needles but i can take it. So they injected 4 shots of anastetic and a tube for the dye to be injected. After that they said I was done, the doctors left the room. I was still sitting on the table straight up. All I remember was that I was thirsty for water. I woke up off the ground and wondering why I was in so much pain and why there was just blood all over the ground. What happened was that I passed out and split my head open..... I had about 20 stitchs internally and externally.....it sucks!

8) Man! You just have to be careful what you say to those Nurses! Probably a reaction to the contrast. That or that was some anastetic! 8O

My Mother's like that. She can gut a deer and it dosent affect her one bit, but one of us kids cuts a finger, she passes out.
I got hurt once as a teen, cut my arm on some glass, and needed stitches, she drove me to the hospital. I had to hide my cut under a big towel,, she made it to the parking lot but by then the blood soaked through the towel,,, ended up carring my mother into the emergecy room (she is small) with my blood all over her back.
They thought she was hurt, I had to tell them over and over that she was ok. We laugh about it now.

Moral of the story: Never grab a good looking nurse when there's a bed pan within her reach...or always request an ugly nurse to avoid temptation! My wife always insists on the latter!

8) When my son had stitches in his foot the doctor told him if he took a shower to just put a plastic bag over his foot! Just make sure it's a quick shower!
