Hi...
I am new here. I just bought a 1976 EC Classic. It is in nice shape mostly. I need new seats, and my seat belts are giving me fits. Sometimes the sholder strap will not extend. I may pull that unit out and see if I can adjust it or something. My '76 is all original I believe. But it may not have the correct hub caps on it for that model year or make. They may be Montt Carlo ones. I just don't know enought about EC to say.
Anyone running a 8 Track radio in your EC? I am thinking about pulling mine and rebuilding it. I have a 8 Track deck at home and can record my own 8 Tracks for the road from my CD collection.
I think I might join the Portland club. I would enjoy making contact with other EC owners. Anyone in the Portland area with a 1976 or a 1976 Classic? I need to look at mirrors and other stuff on a '76 to see if mine are factory.
I know little about this rig other than my dad had one when I was a kid, and I think they look very cool.
I hope to bump into some of you EC owners in the area.
