If you want some of the best vinyl protectant, you probaly use 303 products. Sometimes it is tough to find locally and a little pricey. Go to Pep Boys online web site (http://www.7453217467431.com/search/search_fail.jsp?bmForm=search&bmFormID=1147738968640&bmUID=1147738968640&bmIsForm=true&bmPrevTemplate=search%2Fsearch_fail.jsp&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath=%2FAssortments%2FBrands%2FA llBrands&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath=%2FAssortments%2FParts%2FAl lParts&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath=%2FAssortments%2FPepBoys%2F PepBoysTires&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3Epath=%2FAssortments%2FPepBoys%2F PepBoysParts&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EobjectTypes&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EobjectTypes=PRODUCT&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EmaxRows_cd&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EmaxRows_cd=25&bmHidden=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EsearchTextOperator&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EsearchTextOperator=exact&bmText=SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EsearchFor&SEARCH_INPUT%3C%3EsearchFor=303+products&bmSubmit=partNumSubmit&partNumSubmit=Go&bmHidden=affID&affID=39901). They have 303 products for a great price, no tax and free shipping.
Not a bad deal. I ordered my summers supply. For me, the savings in time and money was awesome. 8)
Sidenote, I don't think the local Pep Boys have this product at this price???

Thanks Jay,
Their stuff changed my whole perspective on vinyl protectant. With their info, I was able to research further and understand why silicone products voids many warranties and can cause other complications - especially in the motorcycling world.
303 is one of greatest inventions since ice-cream cones. Well, close anyway.
Take care

Never mind ordering from Pep Boys. They won't ship cleaning supplies via UPS or FedEx. They claim that neither company will ship this type of cleaner. What a load of crap.
When I finally got an answer, this is what they said:
These parts should not be listed online. They are store only parts.
They will be coming off of the website.
It is a shame when vendors can't get their web sites correct.

Some more info on the 303 protectant. Summit does carry thier line. I just ordered a bottle and they shipped through regular Postal Service, had it in less than 48 hours. As most of you probably know, Summit charges a $9.95 handling fee irregardless of order size, so it's wise to get your 303 when ordering other parts.

Bonnie.... Thanks for the info, my check will be on it's way today. I bought a bottle of the 303 Protectant (at Murray's) just after this thread started. Looks great when applied. Doesn't have the oily sheen that other products have. I'm hoping this stuff will help keep my quarter window seals and other rubber stuff in good shape.

Yes, there really is not to much debate about how well 303 works. The stuff just rocks.
For me, I have to drive about 20 miles out of the way to get it locally. Not a real big deal, but if I can get it shipped to me, like Pep Boys said they would do for free, then all the better. But Pep Boys let me down and I'll take my business elsewhere.
I'll have to check out Bonnie's advise on the 303 web site. Thanks!

Try your local marine dealers/stores. A lot boat manufacturers recommend it.
I get it from West Marine.

You guys are exactly right on this product.I have been using it for years around the house and my sailboats.I have had a number of Hobie Cats,Great Barrier Express, and my current catamaran is a 30 ft. cruiser with lots of vinyl and canvas type surfaces. If 303 can stand up as well as it does in the sun in Key West Fl. I highly recommend it.
