I've almost got all the pieces to complete my Nitrous setup except for the ignition. I currently have the stock HEI with a Pertronix Flamethrower Coil & Module and a set of Taylor 7mm wires. I know I'm going to need something to retard the timing, even though I'm only runing a 100hp shot. Is my only option a MSD Digital 6 or Mallory Hyfire VI? I need to put my cash into other areas, so I nead the least expensive method.

You can use the STOCK HEI. Change out the Module and Coil and from the way I understand it is that you'll need to retard the timing 2 degrees for every 50 Hp the shot adds.

It will also be good if you replaced the Springs and counter weights and put on an adjustable Vaccume module.

I noticed on your signature you say anything over a handfull is a waist, I thought that it was anything over a "Mouth Full"
