Something caught my eye while I had Truck's on last weekend, the wife even noticed it too. Stacy went for a ride on a Honest Charley Flathead Motorcycle (http://coker.com/flathead.asp)

Looks like they may be branching out to new markets...

Honest Charley's has been selling these bikes for at least two years. The recent publicity is coming from the branching out of Coker Tire Company. Coker recently opened a West Coast branch of Coker Tire.

Corky Coker and Mike Goodman are the main figures behind Honest Charley's. Coker Tire Company and Mike Goodman obtained the rights to the Honest Charley name a number of years ago.

Honest Charley's Speed Shop was started in the 1940's in Chattanooga, Tennessee and went on to become a worldwide known speed shop. The company folded in the early 1980s, or was sold to an out of town conglomerate. I'm not sure which, but Corky Coker and Mike Goodman started the business back up by combining it with the Choo Choo Custom Components, Inc. business almost three years ago.

That's Corky Coker in the bottom right picture of the above link. Coker Tire Company is also known worldwide by automobile and motorcycle enthusiasts.

Coker Tire Company and Honest Charley's (Custom Components) operate out of the same building in Chattanooga.

That's an interesting bit of info about Honest Charleys and Coker tires. It figures...Jay Leno...must be nice to be able to buy all the toys you've ever wanted!

Not sure I would own one, even if I could afford it.
