my friend has some Torque Thrust II's for sale and i think i am going to buy them, i've heard that the biggest wheel you can put in the back are 17X8's is this true? If so then what could i do to make these 17X9's fit out back, and what size should i run up front?

Im not sure how wide you can go. i have 17x8s on the rear with 255x40/17sand 17x7s front with 225x45/17s and there pretty close to the iner fenders.but my car is lowered 1".50 with no problems but some people have 17x9.50/17s with 275x40/17s on the rear. but i don't think they have there cars lowered.

thanks, no i havent lowered my car, and im not sure if i want to i will put on the rears and see what will happen before i buy them. i think i will run 17x8's up front. if i was to lower it would i have to tub it or do some sort of custom work to make them fit?
