Can any one recommend a source for the black rubber rear bumper strip for a 1979 to 82 El or Cabby? I would like to find the pass rear side of the 3 piece strip that is separated by verticle bumper guards. GM says "OBSOLETE" ( Thanks for keeping your GM all GM !!! )

Are there any self adhesive rubber strips that are known to look the same rather than the expensive factory Bolt and clip-on stuff?

Try checking out ECCs' links page for suppliers that carry an aftermarket replacement. I'm sure you'll find one that does and will probably give you an ECC member discount also.

you can also try the wrecking yards for a good used one...especially out west. Any 78-85 Malibu, Buick, Olds Cutlass or Pontiac Bonneville/Grand LeMans wagon will have the same rear bumper (G Bodies) :)
