I saw on that guy Tommy's camino the white gauges and i think that is very cool. i would love to own one like that.. does anybody know where and how much i can get that to fit a 79?

Try Honest Charleys...they are just stickers.

You may also find them on ebay. I made some for my 85 by disassembling the gauges and scanning the faces in to photoshop. I then reversed the colors and edited to my liking. I then printed the images on white sticker paper and then laid clear film on top of them and cut them out and installed over the old faces.

Yes they are stickers, very easy to do. I also painted the edge of the gauges white so it would "flow" with the stickers in the middle. I changed the dash bulbs & painted the back side of dash sliver to reflect better. It all made a huge difference day & night. I highly recommend...
