Hi, I am looking for a 1971 El Camino that I bought new in May 1971.
It was an original SS, cranberry red with black stripes, black vinyl top and cowl induction hood. 12 bolt 331 posi rear, am radio, auto on column with bench seat, complete gauge package with tach and NO AC and 454 LS5 engine. I don't have original vin but could check with indot if I find a close candidate. Originally delivered to Middleton Chevrolet, Salem Indiana.
I am prepared to pay for the exact car. New, I paid 4650.00. Boy I should have kept it, huh. I would like to know where it is at even if it's not for sale. Thanks, John
