Hello, don't know if anyone would be able to answer my question but here it goes..
I have a '79 caballero and I am removing the original radio because it's about done for. I'm replacing it with a JVC radio and CD player.
The CD player wiring is pretty straightforward as is the speaker wiring on the caballero
There's a group of 3 wires from the original radio with a plastic connector at the end that has a black, grey and I think yellow or tan wire, I'm assuming this is the ground, battery and accessories.
But this is where I'm having a problem, There are two more wires , an orangey red and a tan wire that went directly into the radio and didn't have a plastic connector. My new radio dosen't have any connections for the two mystery wires, could someone tell me what the're for and if I need them?? Thanks bunches :-)
The original radio was AM FM w/ tape player, wich also does not work!
