My first camino was a 454 hurst 4-speed, my second camino wasn't and I know how board I was.
I know have a project 1983 with a 305 auto and I'm thinking of going to a standard. I'm not looking to deside which one right know but can anyone tell me what I'm in for.
As far as my abilities: I've rebult my 454 after racing a porsche, I passed him on the inside of a ramp onto the highway. After he was through wetting himself he blow me away before I passed over the overpass. Then it happened. So I can handle a wrench but didn't do the machining end.
Body work side my father owned a body shop short of cutting and replacing I can hold my own.
By the way I've grown up know I plan on keeping this a good riding camino not a racing one!
