Is there a place in Cincinnati area that does preformance tuning?

I'm having a hell of a time getting my 350 to run right.

Have you checked:plugs, wires, dist.cap and rotor, coil, is your battery good/charging system(need a good 12+volts to run most ignitions) do you have good fuel in the tank?any vacuum leaks? good fuel pressure? Is the carb any good? Is your timing set right? with the vacuum line disconected from the dist.?fuel filter clean?(the one in the carb too?)do you have good grounds in the electrical system? Is there too much slop in the timing chain(grap the crank pulley and try to rock back and forth you can feel the slop in the chain.if there is over 2-3 inches of play thats not good)How is the cylinder compression? are they 10-15% of each other?are you getting a good squirt of fuel from your carb(looking down inside carb) If you run the engine with the valve covers off are the rockers all moving the same distance?(up and down)are the valves set right?does the dist line up with number one plug wire with the balancer mark on zero?(#1 spark plug out have a friend turn the engine over with your finger over the hole you can feel the pressure build when you coming up to top dead center on #1 you should be close or on the timing pointer zero with the mark on the balancer).
