I have a 79 Elky 350 with Flotech headers. The problem is there is only 1/8" clerence between the oil filter and the header. I want to relocate the filter. The only place I can think to put it is on the left fender and cut a hole in the wheel house for the filter.

Any thoughts?

What about on the inner side of the frame, possibly near the front brake line T fitting or forward of the driverside control arm on inside of frame, you could add in an oil cooler easily? Summit and Jegs carry the filter mounting adapter (single and dual filters), braided lines and oil cooler.
