I have read alot of the posts on lowering my 70 el camino, but there seem to be so many opinions. I was looking for yet another. If the company below is to be believed, the adjustable A arms take care of caster/ camber changes and the tall ball joints help improve geometry through the range of travel. I even read a post where one of our members was designing his own supension components so he would not have to compromise on performance. That said what is the "Best" bolt on supension components for lowering the el 2 to 3 inches in the front and 1 to 2 inches in the rear. I realize that different methods have different compromises, Opinions?? What about drop spindles?? Eibach spings or intrax springs? combination of drop spindles and springs?

I dont think the rear suspension will be nearly as critical, and planned on using lowering springs.

"Street-Comp Stage 2 starts with Stage 1 then takes the next step. For cars that include a tall lower ball joint it further improves the camber curves and roll center height for even better handling. It also lowers the car .5”-.75” and moves the spindle and steering arm to a more favorable height radically improving the bumpsteer. Cars that include tall stud tie rod ends use this method to lower the pivot point to drastically improve the bumpsteer on these cars. Reducing bumpsteer means less steering corrections on uneven roads and a stable, planted feel that inspires confidence when going for a quick ride on that favorite twisty road. For the drag racing it minimizes toe change under hard acceleration reducing drag and making the car much more stable on the top end. It can also allow more suspension droop for greater weight transfer and better launches."
