I have a 72 ss waiting to get back on the road... well after i found this web site its not an SS anymore :( LOL

I figured out the vin number but i could use some help on the firewall plate.
Here it is...

ST 72-13680 L 05216 BDY
TR 732A52 48 43 PNT
15A 145921 050243

I figured out it came with a bench seat (A52) :)

Any help would be great.

Here is the info..

ST is short for STyle
71 - 1972 model year
13680 - El Camino Custom ppickup delivery
L - Los Angeles Plant code
05216 - Body serial number (not the same as the VIN)
TR is short for TRim
732 - Interior trim code for Covert (cream color) vinyl bench seat
A52 - RPO code for bench seat
48 - Lower paint color is Sequoia Green
43 - Upper paint color is Gulf Green
15A is the build date but there is no 15th month so you have to look again at this, so the first digits are the month; A is the 1st work week of the month (weeks coded thru E).
145921 050243 is the Data Processing Sequence Number used for internal plant operatiions.
