lol, the heart and gold of an El camino right? My bed has a couple good holes in it. I figured I would just hit up junk yards long enough to find a new bed. It has its holes focused in two areas. Below the passenger window and between the wheel wells.

Suggestions on what to do? Or is there a way to patch them with sheet metal?

Anyone parting out a elky that wants to cut a bed out for me? lol

How much of it do you need? I have an 85 with a great bed, (parts car)

I bought a two piece bed panels from J.C. Whitney. They are the cheapest and when installed you can't tell it's not one piece.

We applied POR over the old bed, installed with pop-rivets, used body caulking and did the "Hercule-liner" coating.

It's been six years and it still looks like a factory bed.

It's much easier than cutting and welding, and then having a patch-work bed.

Good luck, let us know what you do and how it turns out.
