first of all thanks to papajohn for the heads up on the third brake light,i ordered it today.

2. seeing this is a northern CA forum,does any one know who rebuilds rochester quadrajets in the bay area kinda like a specielest type of place.ive been knocking my self out trying to figure out why my car starts up fine but stalls at idle after 30 seconds,then i restart it and it seems to run fine after its warmed up.alot of work has been done to get it right but im still not happy yet.only thing i havnt done is change the filter in the carb.Any help is and will be appericated.I live in San Mateo if that helps.

well no need for any one to reply for now.yesterday i changed the top raditor hose and thermastat because the hose was leaking.While i had the air cleaner off,i decided to re hose my engine compartment.I went and bought lots of different size vacum hosing and started to replace the hoses under the hood.I think i did about 1/2 of them and i still have losts more to do.What ever i did i now see a differance in the way the car performs.The engine runs nice and smoothe and now it does not stall after starting it up .I must have had some vacum leaks in there i couldnt hear.I cant wait o finish up the rest of them,I suppose after 20 years they need to be replaced.
