I have a 3400 stall converter and the car hooks the car up real well if I don't apply the throttle with the brakes on. If I apply throttle with the brakes on and let her go I get wheel hop almost immediately. I was wondering if traction bars would remedy this and if so any suggestions as to what kind? Is there other solutions that would be bolt-on? I don't want to spend a lot of money and don't have knowledge or equipment to do any real fabrication.

On my '79 boxing the lower control arms, replacing the upper control arms with tubular adjustable arms and using polyurethane bushings eliminated all the wheel hop on hard launches.
