What do you guyst think this elky is worth is a 60 with a 350/350 combo from the 70's runs well, has an oil pan leak and it smells like gas when you turn a corner and it has a full tank, there is some rust as you see in the pics but overall what do you think it's worth the way it is ?

With the original drive-train gone, the value drops quit a bit. However, the overall body seem in-tack without any serious damage. If you can get this car for under 4K, I would say that is a good deal.
However, that is only a guess without seeing the car 1st hand. It really depends on what you plan to do with it...if you want a totally stock car at the end of your project, then I would tend to say it is worth a bit more. If you just want to modify it with modern upgrades and drive it, then its overall utility value is less.
hope that helps a little.

You shouldn't take my opinion too seriously because my love of 1st Gen Elkys tends to cloud my judgment. However I would do a real serious search for rust and inadequate rust repair because nothing will spoil your day faster than finding out that the car of your dreams is nothing more than 2 tons of oxidized steel. You know just the fact that all of the trim is there and it looks good is a big plus as some of that Elky trim is almost impossible to get. OK, if the Elky is at it appears in the pictures I would say it is easily worth North of $5K but less than $10K. I know that is a pretty wide range but without a up-close inspection that would be my best guess.
