My son has a '78 El Camino with a 350/350, and we just had a non-EGR intake manifold and Holly electric choke 4 barrel installed. They were new parts, and the garage failed to give me the carb install instructions back. It runs well - a little rich, but the biggest problem is that when he starts it cold, the high idle is way too high and stays there too long. You can't kick it down for like five minutes. Anyone have an adjustment experience, or leads to a website that has instructions for this? Thank you for any help.

try google search engine for holley web site. i have been to it but did not bookmark .it is a great help . also does your engine idle down or just takes longer to do so? vacium leak?

Thanks for the reply. Yes, it will idle down after it's completely warmed up, but in my experience, it's idleing much too fast, and for too long. I'll check the Holly web site
