I need some help lowering my El Camino, I'm just cutting the coils, is there a website or can somebody give me some helpon how to do it.
If there's a website with some illustrations on the suspension components front and back I would really apreciate it....

Thanks

You can cut the front, but if you cut the rear you'll lose the pigtail that locates the coil spring on the frame or axle.

On a BMW, where the springs are straight, I cut a coil out of all four corners by mounting an abrasive wheel in my skill saw. I've heard people recommend against using a torch bacause the heat can affect the spring's temper.
